Nigerian Afropop sensation BLNDE, also known as Arianna Ude, steps into the spotlight with her seven-track debut EP, Blonde for President

Nigerian Afropop sensation BLNDE, also known as Arianna Ude, steps into the spotlight with her seven-track debut EP, Blonde for President, released on September 25, 2026. The project introduces a bold musical concept that blends confidence, self-expression and vibrant Afropop sounds into a campaign-inspired experience.

Built around a fictional presidential campaign, Blonde for President uses playful slogans, promotional posters and a distinctive visual identity to present BLNDE's artistic personality. Rather than following a conventional political message, the project turns the idea of a campaign into a celebration of individuality, self-belief and unapologetic confidence.

At the heart of the EP is “Omo To Sexy,” an energetic Afropop anthem that celebrates beauty, attraction and self-assurance. Originally released in January 2025 and produced by Big Fish, the track serves as the project's defining statement, setting the tone for BLNDE's confidence-driven musical direction.

The song's title comes from a Yoruba expression associated with being sexy or attractive. Its playful delivery, lively production, catchy ad-libs and club-ready energy give it an accessible appeal, while its cultural references connect the record to the wider Nigerian entertainment scene.

With Blonde for President, BLNDE presents a project built around personality and bold expression, using music and creative visuals to establish a recognisable identity. The seven-track EP marks an important introduction to her sound and artistic vision.
