Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Jinmi Abduls has released his latest extended play, Renaissance, a six-track project that highlights his musical versatility and continued growth in the Nigerian music scene.
Released on July 3, 2026, the EP combines Afrobeats, Afro-pop, R&B, soul, and pop influences, creating a sound that balances infectious rhythms with heartfelt songwriting. The project explores different sides of love, intimacy, attraction, and enjoyment while showcasing Jinmi Abduls’ smooth vocals and melodic delivery.
Renaissance features six tracks: “Sade,” “Ladder,” “Scented Candles,” “Enjoyment Amaka,” “Saro,” and “Hold You.” Each song contributes a different mood to the project, ranging from romantic expressions and laid-back melodies to upbeat rhythms designed for easy listening.
The EP opens with “Sade,” a warm and melodic record centred on love and appreciation. “Ladder” brings a more energetic Afrobeats sound, while “Scented Candles” explores a softer, intimate atmosphere.
