The opening track, ‘.com’, showcases Shallipopi’s creative use of internet-inspired expressions, turning website addresses into catchy street slang while reflecting on wealth, status and street credibility.
‘UP (Transovania)’, produced by his longtime collaborator Producer X, explores space-themed imagery through repetitive chants, rocket references and lyrics centred on luxury and confidence. Across the project, Shallipopi maintains his signature laid-back delivery over log-drum-driven Afro-Pluto production.
WayWard follows his third studio album, Auracle, released in December 2025, which featured collaborations with Wizkid, Burna Boy, Gunna, Swae Lee, Pa Salieu, Young Jonn and Rauw Alejandro. The new EP also follows his 2026 single ‘Allergies’.
With his distinctive sound, street-inspired lyrics and growing international presence, the Benin City-born artiste continues to strengthen his position in the Nigerian music industry.
