Nigerian rapper and YBNL Nation boss Olamide has released a new single titled ‘Burukutu’, accompanied by an official music video directed by TG Omori. The release also announces his forthcoming 13th studio album, Time & Space, scheduled for November 16, 2026.
Produced by Blaisebeatz, ‘Burukutu’ delivers an energetic, street-inspired sound that blends Yoruba rap, catchy rhythms and celebratory vibes. Named after a traditional fermented grain drink popular in parts of Nigeria, the song explores themes of hustle, enjoyment and local culture.
The music video features Olamide in stylish outfits across different settings, including a red corridor and an earthy courtyard with dancers dressed in coordinated white costumes. Several scenes also show the rapper performing with a saxophone alongside brass musicians.
‘Burukutu’ follows Olamide’s self-titled album, Olamidé, released in 2025. While details of the Time & Space tracklist and featured artistes have yet to be announced, the new single offers fans a taste of what to expect from his upcoming project.
