Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer Young Jonn has released his latest EP, Dear London, a seven-track project that arrives alongside a major milestone in his career.
The project dropped on the same day as Young Jonn’s debut headline performance at the 12,500-capacity OVO Arena Wembley in London. The timing makes the EP particularly significant, as it coincides with his long-awaited return to the UK after reportedly being unable to visit the country for about a decade.
Young Jonn opens the project with “Destiny” and closes with “Ws in the Chat,” an upbeat record celebrating love, success and good fortune. The EP also features “By 4,” “Shege,” “Elumelu,” “Glass in the Air,” and “Hold Somebody.”
One notable detail about Dear London is the absence of guest features. Young Jonn handles all seven tracks himself, placing his vocals, songwriting and production at the heart of the project rather than relying on collaborations.
Across the EP, themes of money, ambition, love and personal experiences remain prominent. Young Jonn blends melodic performances with rhythmic production while reflecting on his London experience and the journey that brought him to this point in his career.
Dear London follows Young Jonn's 2025 sophomore album, Blue Disco, which debuted at number one on the Apple Music Nigeria albums chart, and his 2024 debut album, Jiggy Forever. The new EP also follows his recent single “Let It Go,” making it another addition to an active run of releases for the artist.
With Dear London, Young Jonn documents an important chapter in his career while delivering a concise project that gives listeners a closer look at his artistry, experiences and ambitions.
