Victony Features Don Toliver and Summer Walker on ‘SLICK (Remix)’

Nigerian singer Victony has released a new remix of his single SLICK, featuring American artists Don Toliver and Summer Walker. The collaboration brings together Afrobeats, R&B and melodic hip-hop influences, offering a fresh interpretation of the original record.

Produced by Ozedikus, the remix adds two international voices to a song that has already achieved significant success on the charts.

‘SLICK’ Continues Its Chart Success

The original version of SLICK made a strong impression following its release earlier in 2026. The song spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Nigeria’s Official Top 100, becoming Victony's first solo record to reach the top of the chart.

It also reached No. 2 on Billboard's U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, where it maintained that position for three weeks. The single is featured on Victony's sophomore album, STARLIFE, released in August 2026.

What Don Toliver and Summer Walker Bring to the Remix

On the new version, Summer Walker contributes her smooth R&B vocals, while Don Toliver adds his recognisable melodic delivery. Their contributions introduce different musical elements while maintaining the identity of the original song.

The collaboration also marks another connection between Victony and Don Toliver. Toliver previously appeared on the 2023 remix of Rema's Soweto, which reached No. 12 on the UK Official Independent Singles Chart and spent 16 weeks on the chart.
