Ghanaian heartthrob King Promise has finally unveiled his much-awaited third studio album, True To Self. The album is quite significant to his journey so far as it exhibits an artist who has found the right balance of what is sound truly is.

True To Self is important in highlighting King Promise's artistic evolution. Following the success of his debut album As Promised, released in 2019, and the much acclaimed 5 Star (2022), King Promise has honed his craft and developed a sound that is uniquely his.

This latest project draws inspiration from his real-life experiences, particularly his romantic relationships. The album's vulnerability and honesty offer a glimpse into King Promise's inner world, allowing listeners to connect with him on a deeper level.
