How Nigerians Made Me Stop Doing Giveaway – Don Jazzy

he no longer does monetary giveaways in social media.

The Mavin Records boss said his decision to stop was as a result of the heavy backlash from people on the micro blogging platform X.

The renowned music executive stated this while responding to a fan who opined that the hardship in the country is probably the reason why he has not been giving out money like before.

The tweep known as Temi, said when things were good, the music mogul would give N200,000 each to 10 people are those who are in the crypto or tech field were often lucky as he had soft spot for them.


The post reads;

“When things still good, @DONJAZZY go Don give like 10 people 200k each. If you con talk one thing about his artiste Wey burst his head. Na like 500k. If you con like tech or crypto, forget na 1m.”

In response, the Don Jazzy said that thing are still good for him financially, however, he thought that Nigerians on Twitter came to an agreement that it was the best thing for him to stop doing giveaways.

He wrote;

“GOD dey so things good. But I thought all of us on twitter agreed that I should stop doing giveaway. Say make them bandam ”
