The multi-talented singer, who previously teased fans with the news of her venture into filmmaking, took to her social media platform today, Thursday, April 4, 2024, to disclose the eagerly awaited release date. Savage announced that Water and Garri is slated to hit screens on May 10, 2024, accompanied by a promotional flier featuring herself alongside Nollywood actors, Jemima Osunde and Mike Afolayan.

In her announcement post, Savage expressed her excitement, addressing her followers as "My beautiful people" and inviting them to mark their calendars for the movie's premiere. She captioned the post, "See you May 10th @primevideo," generating a flurry of anticipation and support from her enthusiastic fanbase.
