Davido responds to Peruzzi's billing over private jet purchase

Nigerian music sensation, Davido, born David Adeleke, has responded to former label mate and friend, Peruzzi's cheeky billing following the announcement of his latest extravagant purchase - a Bombardier 7500 private jet.

Peruzzi, whose real name is Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, took to X to express his astonishment at Davido's swift transition from a confrontation over weed the night before to the acquisition of a multi-million-dollar private jet. The music star congratulated Davido on his new purchase but humorously billed him $500,000 for a verse he had created.

However, rather than engage in any back-and-forth regarding the unexpected invoice, Davido responded with a message of appreciation, acknowledging the emotional moment shared with Peruzzi, along with their former label mates Mayorkun and Dremo, the night before.

"Last night was emotional," Davido wrote, tagging Peruzzi, Mayorkun, and Dremo in his response, implying that despite any differences or humorous exchanges, the bond between them remains strong.

The exchange between the two artists has sparked a buzz on social media, with fans eagerly awaiting further developments and reactions from both parties involved. Davido's response showcases a mature and amicable approach to the situation, emphasizing the unity and memories shared among colleagues in the music industry.
