In an expected turn of events, award-winning singer and performer, Asake, honoured the late rapper Mohbad at his concert in Lagos on Monday, December 25, 2023.
Asake at his concert had a mural of Mohbad on the wall and it was hard to miss for fans who had attended the sold-out concert in Lagos. This however was not the only way Mr. Money elugolized Mohbad on the night, the singer also had a video which symbolised how much he meant as an artist and showed that he might have passed away but the music industry does not forget him.
Asake on the day the passing of Mohbad was announced took to his social media platform to mourn his loss alongside other celebrities like Olamide and many more. It symbolized how much the late rapper meant to him as an artist.
Timaya, a famous Nigerian singer, shared his story of overcoming drug addiction in a radio interview. He talked openly about how he fought the addiction and how it hurt his body and mind. Timaya being so honest can help others who are struggling with addiction know they are not alone and that getting help is possible.
