Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems in a


recent statement has addressed the speculations of being pregnant with US rapper Future’s child.

Recall in September 2023, sparked pregnancy rumour online following a video showing her supposedly protruding belly.

The renowned actress who received an Oscar nomination made an appearance at Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week presentation. She was elegantly dressed in a black gown, complemented by a lush purple coat and coordinated heels. Observers couldn’t help but speculate about a possible pregnancy, given how the dress accentuated her figure.

Fans wasted no time in jumping to conclusions, weaving a web of pregnancy rumors, firmly believing she’s in the family way with Future’s baby.

After recounting her ordeal regarding her jail term in Uganda, Tems during her chat with American podcaster Angela Martinez on a radio show, got hit with the question about why fans are buzzing with pregnancy speculations.

She nonchalantly dismissed the rumors, humorously remarking that she was as perplexed as a cat in a dog show. She speculated that the misconception might have arisen from the fact that she had tucked her blouse into her pants, accentuating a slightly protruding belly.

The singer who had won a Grammy recalled indulging in a hearty meal that day, possibly explaining the unexpected expansion of her belly. She realized that the pregnancy rumors were circulating just two days later when her own family members, including her mother, began probing for information.

Note that fans’ pregnancy hunch about Tems and Future took flight after she lit up the internet receiving a bouquet of white flowers from the American rapper to celebrate their Grammy victory in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category.
